The Central district runs the width of the island, from 6th Street to 18th Street. It is bordered on the east by the Boardwalk and on the west by the bay. The Central area is peppered with residences, boutique shops, restaurants and cafes and of course the heart of the Boardwalk and its seaside treats, souvenir stores, attractions and amusements.
